MISGA INVITATION TO GOLFERS OVER 50 YEARS
The Rattlewood Golf Club is a Maryland Interclub Senior Golf Association (MISGA) club. If you are 50 years of age or older, maintain a handicap at Rattlewood Handicap System, and pay the annual Rattlewood MISGA membership fee, you can sign up for all the Rattlewood MISGA golf outings.
Rattlewood MISGA, you can sign MISGA consists of about 2,000 senior golfers in Maryland, Delaware, and West Virginia. MISGA fosters camaraderie through tournaments, off season golf trips and golf mixers on a home and away basis. There are currently more than 30 clubs in MISGA including Rattlewood GC. Once a member of the up for ANY or ALL of the scheduled mixers, about one-fifth of which are at Rattlewood.
Then for a cost of about $50 to $75 per mixer you can enjoy 18 holes of golf, including green fees, cart, coffee and donuts, lunch and prizes (if you are lucky!) This is a fair value, with courses discounting their fees to support the group! Typical events draw 40 to 80 golfers.
Besides the home mixers at Rattlewood, you will have the opportunity to participate in MISGA mixers at neighboring clubs like Beaver Creek CC, Bretton Woods GC, Compass Pointe GC, Cress Creek CC, Crofton CC, Fairway Hills GC, Glade Valley GC, Hobbits Glen GC, Holly Hills CC, The Links at Challedon, Montgomery CC, Musket Ridge GC, Northwest GC, Sparrows Point CC, NGC Tantallon, University of Maryland GC, and Winter's Run GC.
